Romp in the Swamp staff are excited to announce dates for 2010 Event
NAPLES FL - Romp in the Swamp staff have announced the 2010 tournament dates as Saturday September 4th. This years event will be based out of Stan’s Idle Hour on the island of Goodland. The tournament staff were forced to make some tough changes to this years format based on the closure of Snook statewide. This years event will have a live catch and release format, consisting of 2 trout and ONE live redfish. The Captain’s Meeting will take place at Stan’s Idle Hour on Friday September 3rd at 7PM. Early registration for the event will begin at 5PM.
The tournament this year is based entirely out of Stan’s, other than the launching of vessels. Please review the rules, as we have made a couple of changes for 2010. As in the past, take-off will be from red marker #6.
Tournament staff will also have a surprise announcement at the Captain’s Meeting regarding a new event in 2011. Stay tuned for the exciting announcement!
